Was 1799 really changed in 1943?
by ILoveTTATT ini am a bit confused... i am looking at watchtowers from 1942, 1941, 1940, etc... and they are already saying that the enthronement, the last days, etc... all started in 1914.. does anyone know the last reference to the following dates:.
1914 as the end of the world.
1915 as armageddon.

by Billy the Ex-Bethelite inthe annual meeting seems to boil down to an opening talk about an "exciting new" bible museum and a closing talk about an "exciting new" new world translation.
sandwiched in between were the wt summary, a talk about indoctrinating the children fast/furious, and some "trip down memory lane.".
why would this "spiritual feast" seem to be anticlimactic?

South Park does a whole skit on jeHovahs Witnesses
by Praise YaHuWaH inwatchin the season premier of south park, something i don't normally do but just happened to catch and glad i did.
they totally had two jw women go to one of the characters "butters" house and gave him a magazine about some sort of destruction scene that was on the cover representing armageddon.
yet again showing that the ancient pagen name of hovah they worship really does live up to the name defined as ruin according to strongs 1943. wife and i laughed our butts off... even the world knows how the "wbtsociety" is so fear focused on destruction rather than the real love that our savior said should be our true walk and focus... .

removing assad would only make things worse. there's no proof he's been using chemical weapons as of yet. if chemical weapons have been used at all, they might as well have been used by the jihadists. it's not like this is some good guys vs. bad guys story.

Friend gets "scriptural divorce" over wifes transgressions before they got married...
by sosoconfused inso i have a friend in a congregation in new jersey who recently called me to tell me that he got a divorce.
nothing surprising there at first but it is the fact of when it happened.
his wife began pioneering april 1, and after about three weeks she came to him and told him that about 4 years she had engaged in loose conduct (fondling the penis and the guy kissing her breasts) during a time that she was inactive.
